Small Steps

 Actively working on my mindset which involves movement. Forward movement. Not getting stuck in loops of defeating thoughts. Not thinking of all the things I have to do and getting tired by my thoughts of all the things I need to do. Defeated before starting. 

I try to just do. Pick up a few things. Think energizing thoughts. 

And, I walk now at lunch during my days in the office. 

It has been a game changer. 30 minutes around the two college campuses that I work at. I am seeing things I've never seen before.  A group of jet black cows way on the hill. Vineyards. Campus buildings I've never seen. A nature trail that starts at one end of campus. 

This is so much better than sitting at my desk looking into the screen.

I am also starting the day without reaching for the phone. It is making a difference. 

Small steps do add up.
